Things that I like lately:

Battleststar Galactica

It is back ! And it kicks all kinds of ass.
I still like the relentless pace . But I like the
flawed and frightened characters even more.
I can depend on this show to pull me in and suck me dry.
But I must say that what I like the very best so far is watching
Lee Adama grow a HUGE set of brass ones .
I was really waiting for that.

Veronica Mars

Okay , I confess. I should not , at my advanced age , be so
intrigued by a high school show. But I do have a weakness
for them. Show me cute young things with enough of a twist
and you have got me. (Hell, I watched all 3 seasons of Roswell )
So it has been a pleasure to get back into the machinations of teen
angst with a fabulous side of snark. I'm utterly hooked. Thanks
crankygrrl ! (insert sarcasm here)

James Blunt

This man sings like an angel. And he writes his own stuff.
I have this debut album on repeat.
Those of you in the UK have no doubt heard him already .
But he is not on sale here yet . I , however ,did shell out big bucks for the
import disc. And if someone can walk me through
the process to link YSI to a post here I will gladly post a sample
for you all.

The new Pride and Predjudice Movie

This promises to be quite good , Kiera Knightley , Matthew Mc Fadyen , ( sigh)
Donald Sutherland , Brenda Blethyn and a host of others. I've finally seen a
preview and it looks beautiful. Here is a sample.


Wet and angsty Darcy . Need I say more?

I hope to return to something resembling real life tomorrow.
I have ten tons of things to catch up on.

I always felt that way about my love of Dawson's Creek. So far, I've resisted the allure of VM, but with so many people raving about it...I find my resistance weakening.

And yes, BSG, is good.
