an over due update
Sep. 27th, 2004 09:17 pmWell work has finally leveled out to a manageable state.
We are still working many more hours than we should be.
(58 last week) But , at least the panic that was driving us for the past
3 weeks has subsided onto quiet resignation that it will all be over
on Oct 17. All we have to do is live till then.
I am enjoying my only day off in spite of the constant rain and wind.
We are receiving our share of the storm that was Hurricane Jeanne.
It was not fun to have to do all monday errands running in and out of
blowing sheets of water. My shoes will be drying for days. But , hey it beats
losing power , or the roof.
I have started on the Stark story again , for the FIFTH time.
Yeah this one has really kicked my ass. But it will make me stronger,
dammit! I think I now have a workable solution. I just hope and pray that
my requester will think so.
The pup that joined our household is now just shy of 5 months old.
She has reached her "gangly little colt" stage. She is as tall as the full grown dog.
But she is all legs and unbelievably skinny . She also has half puppy teeth and half adult . Funny and as fun as she can be.
Well I must get back to the writing ....... Stark awaits.
