I'm a buzy widdle bee
Nov. 1st, 2004 08:33 pmI soo love my weeks off. One of the best thing about being in
"the Arts" Is that after working your wee little ass off you get
3 weeks off to do whatever you like. I have spent the first
two weeks doing the following .
Traveling home to see the relations.
Shopping for stoves and other assorted kitchen parts.
Trying to finish up all the sewing stuff before THE
convention.
Organizing the rest of the year , as I will be completely
slammed with shows till Dec 26.
oh and I got a panic stricken call from Mr S.
It seems that the puppy had pulled a bottle of pills off a sideboard and got into it. Was it the vitamins? Of course not! She went straight for the Zoloft.
I rushed home while he counted off the pills to figure out how many she swallowed.
She only got about 2 thirds of one pill.
But as she is still very young , we decided to take her in anyway. I floored it to the emergency vets and they injected her to make her throw up and fed her the activated charcoal. Now I have actually done this sort of thing before with a previous pup that one decided to comsume an entire bar of choclate
one Xmas eve.
I was doing fine untill the OTHER pet emergencies started rolling in. After an hour and a half of panicing and grieving pet owners , I was shaking and more that a little freaked out.
So much for my calm exterior. She , of course , has no doubt forgotten about the whole thing.
I now have a few more things to do before my little escape from reality ends.
