extra excitment at work

suenixWell I'm currently sitting at a computer in ye old costume
shop waiting for the second intermission of our current
production. Yes I have so little to do this show that I can spend
a couple of hours on line. This is the "public" one as it is old
and sloooow but I still get to play for a while each evening.
Tonight our boredom was broken up by the appearance of a rather
large rat in our backstage shop. Yes a live, fast moving and fearless rat out in the light. We have attempted to catch it
in trash cans or chase it outside to no avail. All the while,
we are trying to keep the actors unaware because we still have
TWO more acts to go! Eeeeeeeeee!
On a much more positive note, one of the actors in this play has just found out that he was nominated of a Pulitzer prize for playwriting. And his current Broadway play is up for five Tony awards.I work with very cool and talented people.
But I hope that the rat goes away.
