5 questions meme

I have been remiss in answering the questions posed to me by
thassalia.
I posted them below, and found them fascinating.
1. How did you end up working in theater?
I blame my 4th grade teacher. She decided to pull me out of my
very hard and crusty shell by casting me as the lead in the class play.
It worked!
But I actually switched majors in college when my Art professor
decided to critique my outfit instead of my work. I decided that I needed
to be somewhere that my talent was appreciated. And a creative
wardrobe was a plus!
2. Tell me your favorite scene from a television show.
The teaser from " Paper Hearts" in Season 4 of the X files.
Mulder is lead by a vivid dream to an unmarked grave in a nearby
state park. It leads to a serial killer who may have
responsible for the death of his sister. The creepy little red point of light
as it spells out the clues is seared into my brain.
3. Name five books that have influenced the way you look at the world.
Okay this one is hard. I feel changed by every book I read.
But what the hell . My personal top 5 books are ;
Pride and Prejudice , A Wrinkle in Time , A Clockwork Orange,
Interview with the Vampire and The Lord of the Rings. I think that
the total immersion place or time completely unlike my own is what
draws me to them all.
4. What's the last thing that made you laugh?
I laugh a dozen times a day ! But a recent favorite involved my
coworker digging through a dumpster to retrieve the shirt
an actor had thrown into the trash by mistake. The show
laundry basket doesn't look a thing like the a trash can but
at least once a season someone does this. The laugh comes
when you return the "lost " item and all the other cast members
tease the guilty party without mercy.
5. How do you feel that being involved with fandom has changed you as a
writer or artist?
Oh boy, you don't toss softballs do you? First , I really don't consider myself
as a writer yet. But the main attraction of fandom , to me , is the shortcut it gives to vast whole new worlds. It gives all participants the power to tap into them in whatever way they choose. And that is quite empowering.
That was fun!
