today is all about trying to breathe

The annual pollen season has arrived . There is a coating of green on every
surface. And anyone with any sort of allergy is in hell. I was actually doing
pretty well . I was taking my medication before the problem got too far . And then my puppy decide to connect her hard little skull with the bridge of my nose this morning as I was getting out of bed. Nothing like airborne dog banging you right between the eyes. I look like I've been boxing .I spent two hours with ice just so I could wear my glasses to work tonight. But I did use the enforced down time to watch a fun flick, Paul Gross's Men with Brooms. It made me laugh in spite of the pain. But the breathing , not so easy with nasal passages swollen up to twice the normal size.

I did get to see a port- o -potti flying through the air today . I was driving by a construction site just in time to see them hoist one up on a crane. I'm sure the
crew working in the high rise building's upper levels will be properly grateful.

Damn! the pollen count here today was over 2100.!
That explains a lot.

ditto on the allergies... they suck monkey poo. however, I have been good and taking my allergy meds and I'm pretty much hunky dorey -- except I haven't compensated for the amount of dehydration that comes with the allergy meds and thus I have a headache when I wake up. grrr.
