Thanks so much to all of you who replied to my last
post. It's clear that I have a caring and thoughtful
friends list. I am coping better than I hoped .
We DO still have a remaining dog , and that helps
a great deal.

I got a call from my mother today. We cringe every time
that we see the caller id for fear that this is "the call" that
my stepdad has passed . But this time it was good
news. My brother has , at the ripe old age of 48 , gotten married.
He and his long time lady made it legal at 2 PM this afternoon.
She has ben married before , but this is his first .
We are all pleased and bemused. I had hoped to drink at his
wedding but am still very happy, all the same. I just pray
that SOMEBODY took pictures!
