New Years thoughts
Jan. 1st, 2005 07:36 pmThis is the traditional time to reflect on one's
life and the year gone past. I guess I feel good on
a personal level , but on a global one not so sure.
I have had a nice level existence from most of the
last 12 months. All the bad things have been more than
balanced by some great ones. I still have a good
marriage, a fun ( and challenging ) job, and a nice place
to live. I realize that all these things could be taken from me
in a instant. So believe me when I say that I feel very lucky.
I resolved last year that I was going to get of my house and expand
my circle of friends. I have done this in spades! I spent days on end
in communion with my fellow fangirls and boys. It is great fun and
expanding in countless ways. And LJ has been a large part of
this. I'm very , very glad I signed up for this madness.
So consider this a thank you to you all. I look forward to keeping up
with all of you next year,
Now off to write! ( the ficathon will not write itself )
