greetings from another country
May. 1st, 2004 04:21 pmI am posting from London. It is the usual
insanity. I am kind of a sad case since I
have been itching for my very own computer
since I got here.
But I am not complaining, I have scored some fab
bargains. I found a pair of Blundstone boots for
$50 less than at home. That's even with the rate of
exchange working against me.
And I think that I finally found the key to shopping
here. You have to stop and sit in a park or coffeshop
every couple of hours or so.
Reading over this I sound like a travel guide.
I must say that the most amusing thing about this
trip is discover the total contempt that every one here
has for George Bush. I like being in a place where
most people think he is just as big an idiot as I do.
Thank God for the internet cafe.......
