noise rules my life

My work place is being reconstructed. They have torn down an old parking deck and are building an annex to the art museum. Before that, they build a new dorm. So for the
past year we have been surrounded by the sounds of large machines and jack hammers.

I always looked forward to coming home to a little quiet. So today I was rudely awakened by, guess what , jack hammers. Yes my scary neighbor has now called out the reinforcements in the attempt to fill in the old broken pool in his back yard.

It's almost enough to send me out shopping for an Uzi.
