The COLD front! Yeah it was 16 F here last night.
And it's still Autumn. Scary!
Well the fun never ends here in Suenix land.
The latest;


The dream kitchen is shaping up.
The countertops are in.
They are amazing! It's a type of granite called Baltic
Green. It's sort of like looking into a star field.
Lots of depth and color variations.
Electrical will be finished today.
I will also have a sink later today.
This leaves stove installation.
I MAY have cooking ability by tomorrow.
I will then have at least 2 weeks worth of
tile and painting to deal with myself.
But I can move my pots and pans in by Christmas!



We are not alone at the Arts Center.
During the "holiday season" many other concerts are held at the adjoining symphony hall.
This week Clay Aiken showed up.
I was amazed and not a little appalled by the hordes of hormone charged fans that followed.We literally had to shove our way into and out
production entrance just to get to dinner.They had some how got the idea that that he was going to exit and go to the tour bus there.
Of course , TPTB had sneaked him out a side door long before. But here they were , for hours.I would have been sorry for them if they hadn't
been so fucking annoying.




Okay I admit it . I know nothing to speak of about
StargateSG-1. I have seen , over the years , maybe 3 episodes.
It didn't grab me and I went on. So I am puzzled by the frenzied
reactions of both fan camps. I will retain my detached amusement
for as long as possible. I suppose I must give it a chance when
Claudia Black appears later this month. After then, lets just see.



I know everyone is sick to death of my fanfic insecurities.
But I find myself , once again , loving my Dargothon assignment
and being intimidated by the recipient. This one is a Titan of
Farscape fanfic and I will NEVER measure up. What's a little
fanfic hatchling such as myself to do? Suck it up, I guess and
start the thing.
Speaking of Farscape, I have discovered a fellow fan in my midst.
The harpist on my current show is fan! So I now have two
people to discuss the show with at work. Weeeeeee!

Off to by gifts for the co-workers.

Yup. I know how you feel, though. It's exactly how I felt when I wrote something--my second fic, ever, and just a drabble--that I knew Kerne was going to read. And then starting RPG with Kerne and Flora...

But you're right. You don't improve without writing, so just jump in and put the words down, and worry about how they go together later.
