Yeah I'm very late in posting this. But I have been working in the land of Christmas Carol. So there.


Saturday PT 2


I actually hung around the lobby for a while and talked to some folks about
what I was wearing. Well as does happen nature called. As I was heading for the rest room I looked up to see Ben Browder. I also noticed kazbaby1.
It seems that she had staked him out. He was very gamely signing something for her and telling her being in the talent contest was "more than I could gave done". I laughed and went on on in. Then she came in and announced to all the women present that " while you were all in here peeing that Ben Browder was right outside!". She IS a wild one.

Speaking of which, she is fast too. As this picture will attest.



This was either Friday or Saturday night in the bar. She leaped up when she spotted Wayne & and David going in to eat. I was there with the camera so we got permission for a quick shot.

I believe that here , I actually saw my husband up in the room . He was done with his meetings and I was peeling out the the Crais getup. We had a room service dinner and I headed back for the Desert party.

It was a pretty simple set up , lots of big round tables and a cash bar. There was ice cream (which I had ) and little desert things ( which I didn't ). As we waited we
all ragged on the sound system and choice of music. They were equally bad.
I was mostly really enjoying seeing my friend Lisa plow through 5 gin and tonics.
Wayne made it to our table and broke all land speed records zipping past. There was much dismay and griping.

Next Ricky Manning and his very gracious wife stopped by and stayed .
She positioned herself next to my chair and asked us how the convention was going for us thus far. This lead to me telling her the story of how I got hooked on farscape . I think anyone would tell her anything she asked 8).

By this time we were all quite well lubricated and ready for Anthony.
He did not disappoint us. We cleared a chair and he plopped right down next to me. He looked hot and tired but was still pleasant and as talkative as usual.
The conversation turned to the death of Dargo. We all agreed that it sucked that he had to die. Anthony replied with the party line about a sacrifice being required. Then my friend Lisa ( remember her?) proclaimed that that " they shouldn't have killed Dargo , they should have killed the baby". Next thing I knew he was standing up on his chair and screaming out VERY LOUDLY to the whole room. "They shouldn't have killed Dargo! They should have killed the fucking baby!" The room exploded in cheers. Then he made a bee line to the next table.
He was moving so fast that he left his glass on the table. So I snatched it up and took over to him , He looked like he really needed it.

There was very little that could have topped that , so I called my desert party over and left. As usual , the hotel lobby was full of people but this time they were having a party. This was the anti -desert party thrown by a group of very lively and loud fans that didn't have the gold tickets. There were snacks and chocolate and bottle after bottle of champagne . scorpy808 and I have a great time chatting with the group and she actually took a sip of the wine. She was feeling pretty poorly all weekend , poor thing.

The jet lag then took it's toll and I retired for the night .

I'm actually rather calm person. *vbg* I couldn't help myself though about the bathroom bit. I refuse to call that stalking him as some have said. lol

So how can I bribe you for a copy of that pic of me with Wayne and David? *g*
