Amazed to be here

I was shocked and pleased to hear from my sister this afternoon.
It seems that all my family came through the hurricane with selves & houses
intact. Can't beat that!

They cancelled the show tonight due to tornado
warnings and very heavy rains. This is very rare , and even more so
this time because of the whole " world Premiere" hype.
But , after the crazy hours we have been working , we couldn't
get ourselves out the doors fast enough.

But since I got home we have had nothing but regular
rain and a little wind here and there.
I even still have power. So this is really like a little expected
treat for me. I'm going to kick back , watch the tube and work on my
ficathon story .

Life tonight , is pretty damn good.

Good to hear you have power too. I've had a couple blips when the power went off, but all is good here as well. I keep looking at the clock and thinking- hmm, we'd be in Africa right now.... ah, how wonderful to have the evening free.
