Xmas is nearly over......

I have ONE week left of the Death March that is The Christmas Carol.
It's not all bad , but no matter how you deal it still is a LOT of hard ,
slogging work.
I spent my one day off this week doing nearly all of Xmas at once.
I got the last of the out of town gifts bought and sent off. I got
the co-workers gifts and wrapped them. I now have only odds &
ends for the stockings and My Secret Santa victim.
It was bizarre to walk around the upscale shopping center watching
the " sweater ladies" sweating in the 72 degree weather. I DID have great fun
going to my very first Trader Joe's. This location only opened last friday.
MY Secret Santa has a wicked sense of humor. The last gift included
some crazy Jones sodas. I had a blast convincing cast and crew members
that they Just HAD to try the Brussels Sprout Soda. Big fun was had by all.
There is the shop party , the cast pot luck, 9 shows and one Thai Massage
in store thus week. Then one blessed week off....... I might make it.

Date: 2006-12-19 06:14 am (UTC)I love Secret Santas. We always had a blast doing them during our show. I loved sneaking into the dressing room before my victim and decorating their mirror with garland and leaving candy before the big gift exchange.
Good luck with the Christmas craziness! (I've managed to completely put off buying gifts so tomorrow the goal is to get that done. Yay.)
