First things first ,
Happy Birthday kazbaby
I hope the day treats you well.

I have been back on the work track.


We have 30 performances of "Christmas
Carol between now and the 24th. And , new
this year , only 11 of them are at night.
This means that once again I have to rise
before dawn to go do theatre. I got a
whopping 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night.
So my usual mad dashes up and down the stage
stairs were more like zombie staggers.
But no one on stage naked , so it's all good .

On the personal front, my mother is coming to
my house the week after Christmas. This is HUGE!
I have lived in Atlanta since 1983 and she has
never here to see me here . It 's not like we don't get along.
I travel to her house regularly. But a sort of primal
panic sets in when your mother is
going to see how you live for the first time in oh, FOREVER.
I will be scrubbing and fussing till then.
