It has not sucked being me the past few weeks.


I ended the last show on November 1st.
Two days later I was in England.I spent a week enjoying myself in four different cities.
It was a nearly perfect trip. And I found a great pair of boots. That is one of my personal
keys to happiness.

I am very happy to report that the young English guys are
NOT wearing baggy clothes. It makes for much better ogling by
old women such as me. And it was just refreshing to
be in places where you can travel very well without a car.

This week I have been to see Pride & Prejudice twice .
It was not perfection, but it was nice to
spend some quality timewithElizabeth & Darcy.
And the fact that I was going with other people made it worthwhile.

A friend that I hadn't seen it 8 years was in town today for the U2 show.
So I got to spend the afternoon having lunch and showing her around a bit.
We went by the Theatre and the set was up and ready for Christmas Carol.
So she had a special treat and a behind the scenes tour.
It made me happy just to see it again.



All this and the time to just putter around and take naps has
made me a happy girl lately. Next weekend when I am in the
middle of the endless Tech rehearsal , I can think back
on the rest of November and smile.
