In which I learn about barbituates

Well my poor puppy had another seizure at the vets.
She had made it through the night but not the full
observation period.
So now she has to stay another 24 hours.
Her organs and vitals are good ,
so this could be just be a form of dog epilepsy.
All they can do now is dose her and watch for
adverse reactions to the drugs.

I was able to go see her today and get her to take in a little
broth and cheese. She had been refusing to eat anything.
And I calmed her down a bit . So I feel a little better. And
hopefully she is going to be able to cope a little easier
knowing that she hasn't been left forever.

So we expect to have a second sleep deprived night , while
we wait and worry.
