I have not really be away. But I might as well have been.
This is the time of the year that I work at the " other".
theater. I am a shopper. That's right, it is my job to drive
around the town all day long and buy obscure and random
stuff that we need to put on the 3 shows this summer.
This can range from toy propellers to dorm fridges.
Most days it's fun , others pure torture. But boring ?
Never.

I have once again missed the tickets for the advance
preview show of THAT movie. They sold out before the
fandango site was even activated . I have resigned myself
to the fact I will see it with the masses in Sept.
But I DO get the see Mr Joss his own bad self at
the end of August so there!

The husband gifted me with a DVR and cool new flat screen tv
for the anniversary. I have spent the last two weeks trying it out .
I will be soooo ready for the new sci fi friday line up.

Oh and today I was late for work , but I had a good excuse.
The dog ate my glasses. No really. I came in my office to get
them off my desk . And she had them on the floor , in pieces.
The folks at Lens Crafters said that I was the third person in
their location today with the same problem. I also turns out that
the optometrist was a huge theater fan who knew half the
company I work with. So the experience was maddening but amusing .
Just like the rest of my life.
