only the very brave .......

.......... can work in the theatre. Or perhaps the crazy.
My job for the next 6 weeks includes, myself and two actors
RUNNING as fast as we can .......

Off stage
Across the backstage scene shop
Up 1 stair case
Across the upper lobby of the small theatre
Up a 2nd flight of stairs
Along side of the building
Into and across the large theatre lobby
UP a 3rd flight of stairs
Into the balcony lobby

Where I stop with one actor strip him out of his pants socks &
shoes. And put him in a pair of sliver platform shoes ,
elbow length gloves, and teeny tiny little hip
drape & Carmen Miranda Hat.

So he can run down to the edge of the balcony and
interact with the others actors on stage.

It is unbelievable. I'm heaving for breath by this time,
saying " Put your foot through here. "

Then they have to run down to the regular
lobby to enter through the house and walk back to the
stage down the aisle .

Mean while I'm retracing my steps to get backstage again.
And trying not to pass out.
