home sweet home
Dec. 6th, 2004 01:24 pmYeah well , not so much.
There is , at this very moment , a man in my kitchen with a big crowbar ripping up the place. The dream kitchen is underway ! For the next 2 to 3 weeks we will be eating microwave and washing dishes in the bathtub. Let's just say that this does not make the dogs happy. They are barking and pacing and following my every step. This is going to be insane. But it kind of fits in with my usual life.
I am in the usual Christmas Carol hell. I really do like doing the show. It is cast with local actors , many of whom come back every year. But the schedule is just brutal. We have two shows four days this week and two one show days. That means I get up at 7:30 AM go do a 11 AM show only to turn around and go back in at 5:30 PM for the 8 PM show. We speak longingly of normal things like going to the grocery store and doing laundry. But it fun when we step out of the theatre and see the whole families all dressed in their little holiday outfits streaming in the doors.
I have hooked one of the actors on the show on Farscape. Hee! He is sooooo very
doomed now. But it is fun, because he asks all the best questions. I just keep feeding him more DVDs. And squeeing to myself.
I have to go do MANY errands now. Will write more later.
