I have been off contract for a week now. I really do like being able to do what I want when I want to. Except for the trying desperately to house train the puppy.
Yeah, it does put a major crimp in the home improvement activities when you are watching the little canine for all signs of squatting.

But, in the past week we have gone to a movie, and a play. Next week we watch the Braves take on the Mets. This is a huge flurry of social activity for Mr. S and myself.

We had a sign from the gods last week when the ancient electric oven caught fire.
The long term plans to redo the kitchen have just been ramped up. It would be impossible to replace the 40 yr old oven. And we tore out half of the counter tops
months ago.

My office contents are still spread out over three rooms. But the carpet is out and the walls need only a second coat of paint around the trim. Tomorrow I go to the local Container Store and find out how much it is going to cost to fulfill my shelving dreams. By weekend after next I should be very happily back in my little
office haven. I NEED the quiet.

I hope to spend this weekend teaching my self the basics of Dreamweaver MX 2004. It LOOKS easy. But we shall see.........
