suenixIs anyone here going to Dragoncon?
I'm with the Southeast Scapers , the local Farscape group.
We have made a HUGE commitment of time and cash
to get the word out about the mini. So I'm begging for ideas.
We have a hospitality suite and hence, many hours to fill up with fun things to
see and do.
What would you like to do with other Scapers in groups or 20 or less.
We already have a party planned in another space on Saturday night.
This is more or less an survey for activities. We do have things planned
but hell more ideas can't hurt.
Oh, and if you were assigned the specs for a music videos contest
what would be the most logical categories. I'm just looking for
help as my brain is a little fried just now due to some RL crap going on.
It seems that all my friends or relations are having either very bad luck or revenge from the gods. In the past 6 weeks the following
has happened:
my work friend's boyfriend lost a thumb in a work accident
my childhood bud's sister had a brain tumor ( she's recovering and will be okay)
TWO of my uncles died
another family friend was diagnosed with cancer and was dead in just 3 weeks
the same childhood friend had a brian seizure ( he also appears to be okay)
Just as I starting to dread answering the phone I learned that my niece is pregnant. Thank the gods for good news! They are both redheads I'm hoping for
matching offspring. It's going to be fun looking for baby stuff again.
I have signed up for the Stark ficathon. Can't resist A farscape ficathon.
