Novacaine is (is not) my friend

I started my day at the dentist.
I know , it sucks like a black hole.
My dentist , bless her , knows who nervous I get
so she really overdoes the the pain relief .

So I feel like the entire left side of my body
is dragging about 6 inches behind me.
I'm trying to suck tomato soup through
a straw without dribbling it on my shirt.
And counting off the minutes till I have
to got to work. Oh JOY!

I feel your pain. When I go to the dentist for anything scarier than a teeth cleaning, I have to take Halcyon *and* go under gas at the dentist's office. Even then, I've been known to have panic attacks.

I'm with kaz, call in sick, if that's an option.
