This Thanksgiving ....

is better than usual.

First, I got Wednesday off this year. The first preview went so well
that the director released us until noon Friday. Wednesday was spent
housecleaning and napping. I also watched some season 1 episodes of
SGA. Mr S and I hit the Borders with my collection of discount coupons.
Good times for all.

Second, We decided to ditch the Turkey idea this year. Since there are only
the two of us we never manage to finish off even the smallest bird.
So this year the menu was ham , broccoli & rice casserole, glazed carrots and
biscuits. All these leftovers are guaranteed to be gone in two days at most.
And the whole cooking time was 2 and a half hours total.

Third , I have spent HOURS today reading great SGA fic. The
evening has been devoted to watching multiple episodes of Season two
Dr Who with Mr S. Now I'm off to see the episode of Grey Anatomy that
my DVR kindly saved for me .

The perfect kicked back interlude before the madness that is Xmas Carol,
( I will be smuggling the camera backstage again this year )
