I'm in over work mode. I was called back to the Theater 3 weeks early .
It becomes necessary when we are called to put together 160 costumes
by Sept 3. Insanity ! But when the PTB decide to contract to present a
"WORLD PREMIERE " musical based on popular book AND award
winning movie that is what happens.

So all the Broadway vets have condescend to come work with us and the usual
heartache and sorrow ensue. I know I am being somewhat pessimistic but he
sheer amount of work we have ahead of us tends to cause that kind of reaction in me. I will feel a lot better next week when I'm back in my real job and in rehearsal.

On the home front I have my sister and brother in law coming this weekend.
Love that! and 3 days off work will adjust the attitude. Touristville , here I come.

Dragoncon is fast approaching and the guest list is growing fast. I am excited about the Farscape group. But I also just discovered that Nathan Fillion from
Firefly will be attending. A fangirl squeee just cannot be suppressed !

The little pup grows at an astounding pace when she came home with us she was
8 pounds . Now she weighs 19 . She goes to the vets tomorrow for the last round of puppy shots. And I'm going in for my Thai massage. So Tuesday looks to be a good day all around .

I got my Stark ficathon assignment . I don't know whether to be flattered or freaked out. I DO have some thought and research ahead of me. Ah well, it'd supposed to be a challenge right ?

Yeah, I really don't envy you that particular ficathon assignment, I have to admit. Sorry about that. :) I have faith in your ability to meet the challenge, though!

Dude that blows like a hurricane. 160!!!!

I freakin hate WORLD PREMIRES! GAH!!!!!

because you will appreciate this...we are co-proing our first show with Houston. We get it first, but they wanted everything built and rehearsed down there. So they flew our costume shop down and they have been working there for the last five or so weeks. Oh and the first rehearsals were in NYC cuz that's where the director/playwright wanted them and now this is the last week of them all being down there and then they get here next week, rehearse for a day or so then into tech. It's a mess of epic proportions, but not as bad as 160 costimes.

Once again I shall say it:

That blows like a hurricane.

Yes, Yes it does blow!
I swear co-productions are removing years from my life.
But does the the management understand this ?
No . No they don't.

Well on opening night they will all fly home (or go back to
their offices on the 3rd floor) and leave us the hell alone.

Well, that fulfills my quota of bitching for tonight.
